This is a simple setting that exists that can be updated in your management console. Any information you enter here will be visible to your employees on the POS when you pull up the customer’s entry.
Use this field to add unique customer notes that would employ anyone at your business to help that customer and not skip a beat. Restaurant? Make a note if the customer prefers a certain table or likes booths only. If they have food allergies, add it to the notes! This area can be used for any details you want that can increase staff engagement with your customers on a deeper level.
Reward Repeat Customers With Discounts
Use customer groups to reward your most loyal customers! You can also use this area to keep track of employees who receive employee discounts, automatically remove tax for tax-exempt customers, or offer special discounts for military personnel.
Creating customer discounts that will automatically activate when an applicable customer is attached to an order on the POS will be a wonderful surprise to your customers. You can create basic discounts, like 10% or $10 off, or you can create more involved discounts, like buy 2 items, get the third item for free.
Run Customer Order Reports
Generate an order report to see what your customers are buying and when they are buying those items. This report can offer deep insights specific to a single shopper or an entire segment of customers.
You can use information from the customers’ orders report to create personalized marketing campaigns, send customers special offers for products you know they’ll love based on their order history, or offer them something special next time they shop in person!
